Juniper cabin is the ideal retreat for guests who seek a secluded wilderness getaway without having to venture too far off the beaten path. This cabin is our most accessible retreat with quick and easy access off Highway 7 just 10-minutes East of Sharbot Lake and 15-minutes West of the historic town of Perth, Ontario. Despite being close to civilization, the cabin is located in an idyllic and private spot. You won’t find any neighbours or cottages in sight.
Juniper cabin sits nestled into the landscape overlooking the Fall River. Relax, swim, fish or take our canoe out and explore the connecting lakes in the area. From the cabin you are just 4-minutes away from Silver Lake Provincial Park where you’ll find a public beach, and just 3-minutes away from the Tay- Havelock trailhead (connected to the Trans-Canada Trail). Juniper cabin offers a clean, minimalist, rustic and open-concept design with lots of windows and light to bring the natural beauty of the outside in.
PLEASE BE AWARE
The cabin is located near Highway 7. Depending on the day, you may hear sounds from the road. But mostly these sounds are masked by the cascading lull of the Fall River at your doorstep.
This Cabinscape is located in Maberly, Ontario, in Tay Valley Township, an area known for pristine swimming, mature forests and steep rock faces. From the cabin you are just 10-minutes from the village of Sharbot Lake and 15-minutes from the historic (and adorably quaint town) of Perth. Here is where you'll find anything you might need: groceries, LCBO, Beer Store, great cafes, theatre, restaurants and great shopping. If you're up for the exercise and adventure, you can also hike or cycle to either town via the Tay-Havelock trail.
Conveniently located just over an hour from Kingston, 1.5 from Ottawa and 3 from Toronto. *Parking is available for up to 3 cars
