  • Burdock Cabin

    From: $221.00

    Kirkfield, Ontario
    Sleeps 3 | 160sq/ft | Guests age 6+ suggested

    Summer (May-Oct): $241 Weeknight | $256 Weekend | $281 Holiday
    Winter (Nov-Apr): $221 Weeknight | $236 Weekend | $261 Holiday

Burdock cabin is located on a magnificent 230 acre property overlooking a sparkling blue, spring-fed lake (the result of a former limestone quarry). This incredibly unique and otherworldly landscape is just 1.5 hours from Toronto and will soon be the site of our long-awaited Cabinscape Camp: Kawarthas.

By March 2022, this pristine lake will be home to 5 lakeside cabins, each on its own big, beautiful and secluded lot – with dreamy desert-like vistas. Later this spring, we are launching a handful of canvas rental tents, as well as a large communal shore dock, to take advantage of this truly epic location. More cabins will be added to the meadows and forested grounds in autumn 2022, and a sheltered lakeside pavilion will be added in 2023 for meals and gatherings.

Burdock is the forth cabin in our growing Kawartha fleet! All lakeside cabins are identical in design and come with their own fire pit, paddle board, BBQ, picnic table, two Muskoka chairs, and a private dock at the water’s edge. Paddleboards are swapped out for two complimentary adult-sized pairs of snowshoes in the winter months.

Due to the realities of this site and the safety risks involved, we do not recommend this cabin for families with children under the age of 6. Pets are also not permitted here. See the “Be Aware” section below for more detail.
