After carefully reviewing the updated Government Guidelines, it is our understanding that we are able to keep our business operational during this period based on the fact that we fall under the category of “Hotels, motels, lodges, cabins, cottages…” (which have been listed as businesses permitted to operate). As such we are honouring our existing bookings.

BEFORE YOU LEAVE FOR YOUR VISIT: Please check this page for updates.

We are leaving it to the discretion of our guests to determine whether they are able to travel at this time. 48 hours notice is required for any cancellations, or our standard cancellation policy will apply. Please contact us if you are unable to travel (bookings@cabinscape.com).

Haliburton Forest

IMPORTANT – Each guest in your group must sign the Haliburton Forest Waiver prior to visiting.
You can fill out a digital version HERE or stop by the office and fill out a paper copy.

Dogs:
Dogs must be on leash at all times, and this is particularly important on the hike into the cabin.

Firewood:

Firewood and kindling can be purchased at Haliburton Forest’s Main Office and Cookhouse/Camp Store. Most gas stations also sell firewood.

Garbage:
Anything you bring to the cabin with you, must leave with you (zero trace!) and that includes garbage. Haliburton Forest does have a garbage dump accessible to Cabinscape guests. On your way out, you can grab the “pink key” from the Haliburton Forest Main Office, and they will direct you where to go to dump your garbage. Please just remember to bring the key back to the Main Office before you head home!
